About INK
Ink, set in the small village of Ink Port Town, follows the story of Kimberella, a young girl on a quest to write the words that will define her. Finding an unlikely ally in Squee, the last squid in the ocean, the two friends must team up to save their themselves and their town!
On our young heroine’s journey, she must face swashbuckling, sea-shanty singing she-pirates who are at war with the masculine male models of the seas, the Mermen! With the help of the sea creatures living below and wondrous characters with original music for all ages, Ink is a new musical about the power of words.
Casting Breakdown
Characters have been grouped by challenge level and have been written to fit class sizes. Each Character group can have ensemble performers for flexible cast sizes.
Each group will have at least one individual song plus a whole school song.
