HOLIDAY DANCE WORKSHOP: PROXIMITY
PROXIMITY is a day of dance workshops for the local community.
PROXIMITY offers dance workshops for all ages to unite as a community and celebrate through dance. For movers and groovers, from beginners to advanced, PROXIMITY offers a variety of dance workshops in one day, with industry dancers.
Our July Holiday workshops are on WEDNESDAY 8th JULY. Stay tuned for more info coming soon
OPEN DANCE WORKSHOP SERIES
Open classes, Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00pm.
A place to create & relate! Open Dance classes taught by 3d Arts Teaching Artists and Alumni.
On once a month, Wednesday evenings, 1.5 hour workshop in a variety of styles. All movers welcome! All dance workshops held at The Studio, YourDNA Complex, 1/37 - 51 Lusher Rd, Croydon

DANCE - VET Solo Showing Evening & TRIPLE BILL
The 2026 Graduating Certificate II in Dance students will showcase two solos each in preparation for assessments at the end of the year. Celebrate their passion and dedication as they showcase a variety of dance styles from tap to ballet.

DANCE - TRIPLE BILL featuring Footworks Youth Dance, VET Certificate II Dance & Emerge Advanced Dance
TRIPLE BILL will feature powerful, original dance works:
🔥 VET Dance – “I’m Not Done Yet” A performance narrative highlighting, choreography from Teaching Artists, the Year 2 cohort and VET Dance alumni.
🔥 Footworks – Premiering the new dance work, Mirror: truth unseen
🔥 Emerge – Performing a short dance work choreographed by guest choreographer, Hadassah Wallis

We are excited to share that we’ve secured a new home for our Youth Dance and VET courses in 2026!
Our new studio is located at 1 / 37 - 51 Lusher Rd Croydon, within the YourDNA Creative Arts facility. YourDNA is a disability service and support organisation that offers arts programs to adults during the day.
