3d Arts Youth Theatre Season
THE ECHO OF LIGHT, 31 July - 2 August
A 3d Youth Theatre performance by Stage 2 (years 10 - 12) ensemble.The Echo of Light is a play about the majesty and magnificence of creation and the power of light. Brynner, a boy with a fascination for the stars, longs to rewrite his story in the sky. Bron, a senior astrobiologist, struggles to reconcile the loss of her daughter returning to work at the deep space observatory. As Bron and Brynner grapple with the vastness of the cosmos and their place within it, the play celebrates light and how it echoes through space, blending scientific wonder with human emotion and divine design. Even the most fleeting glimpses of light are enough to connect us all. The Echo of Light is a poetic reflection on the ephemeral nature of existence and the eternal nature of the One who created it all.

A 3d Youth Theatre performance by Stage 1 (years 7 - 9) ensemble.
Welcome to the rise of the Betweenager. In the not-too-distant future, a discovery has been made - a gene which reveals a person’s predisposition to succeed in a particular field of employment. This gene switches on at age 13 and continues to mature through the teenage years.
In order to get the most benefits from this genetic data, 13-year-olds are encouraged to have an implanted neurological link to their smart devices. This link will reveal the Between Gene’s maturation process and map the most straightforward path between childhood and future employment.
It’s what we’ve always dreamed of, right? An answer to “what’s the right path for me?”. But, strangely, with their future predestined, some teenagers are now left feeling little hope for the years ahead. Some may begin to look for an open window...

OPEN DANCE WORKSHOP SERIES
A place to create & relate! Open Dance classes taught by 3d Arts Teaching Artists and Alumni.
On once a month, Mondays, 8 - 9:30pm, 1.5 hour workshop in a variety of styles. All movers welcome! All dance workshops held at Glen Park Community Centre, Glen Park Rd, Bayswater North.
