Born and raised on The Patch, Patches mows the lawn for hay and protects the eggs from Foxes with her herd. But, what place is there for a curious young alpaca like Patches who can’t grow a decent coat and who dreams of a life over the fence? Determined to find a place she thinks she’ll finally fit, Patches sets out with her new friend, Feathers, on a quest to discover where she truly belongs. But, hot on their tails are the Foxes, hungry for a feed on some farm-fresh fast food!

Along the path less traveled, Patches and Feathers meet Whiskers, a fleet footed tassie devil who brings them to The Range - a wildlife sanctuary where everyone can be a star! Beneath the allure of celebrity status, luxury and freedom, the friends discover that it might cost them more than they can afford to live on The Range. Meanwhile, concerned for the curious little camelid, her family enlist the aid of a crack commando unit of reptilian rescuers – G-Force - who must do all they can to save the lost souls before it’s too late!

With Hay-Day fast approaching announcing the arrival of the Hatchlings, our meandering menagerie find themselves trapped. With nothing but a daring escape plan, they find themselves lost in the outback. Hitchhiking home with the help of a flock of Royal Flying Duckters, Patches and Feathers discover that perhaps the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
