Third Door Theatre
Third Door Theatre Company exists to strengthen the Arts culture in Melbourne. We cultivate an expression of community in the Arts, bringing contemporary and classical theatre alive with a crisp artistic vision to create work that collides with our lives and converges with community, shaping and creating culture.
Founded as an actors' ensemble, the Third Door theatre-making family continues to grow and the company welcomes both professional and emerging actors. Our vision is to stage work that honours the audience, each other and ourselves as theatre-makers—theatre is made to be a shared experience.
With a view to make work that invites and provides access to the wider community, we believe in making theatre that is stirring, relevant and accessible to all, including education seasons for our school audiences.
We perform all across Melbourne, with a vision to stage work in the many artistically diverse spaces that thrive in our city! We're for emerging artists in local communities and believe leading artists create culture. Third Door Theatre is making theatre in 3D.
