To commemorate 400 years of Shakespeare, Third Door Theatre will bring one of the Bard’s most beloved and beguiling comedies to life at The Doncaster Playhouse.
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING - AUGUST 31 to SEPTEMBER 11
A play about the follies of love, marriage, mischief and revenge! Against the backdrop of a battle of wits betwixt the original bachelorette Beatrice and confirmed single-man Signor Benedick, there is much-ado in this merry adaptation about courtship and young love. A modern re-imagining of the classic text, honouring the original play in a contemporary context and style.
“A star danced, and under that was I born!” (Beatrice)
